An Old Fashioned Ass Whuppin!

COWBOYS LOSE! THE DREAM IS OVER!

The Cowboys got the beat down so bad by the Saints tonight it's embarrassing. They were out coached, out motivated, out played, and down the line. I stopped watching at the start of the 4th quarter, so I don't know the final score but it was around 41-17 last time I saw. And some one let me know when our Defense decides to show up on game day because they have been missing since the N.Y. Giants game last week, especially Roy Williams.

For Gwen

So I'm watching "Saturday Night Live" tonight and on comes the musical guest Gwen Stefani. After watching her performance I have just one message for her:

 Bring back "No Doubt" already!

Your cute and all, but your solo music has become real annoying.

The Roundabout

Just a note to the current & future "City Planers of America", Adding more Stop Signs and Traffic Lights to the roads are not the answer, look into building Roundabouts. Why? Because stopping every two blocks really sucks, especially when there is no traffic. So far I have only seen one here in D/FW, and it's in the middle of nowhere Colleyville.

Metallica – Fuel

I just picked up "Metallica: The Videos". I gotta tell you that after putting them on the back burner for so long,  I almost forgot how much fun it is to blast "Metallica" at full volume. Probably the best (in my opinion) video/song to play loud, head bang, drive fast, fuck, or just about any other activity (safe or dangerous) you can think of, "Fuel" is the one to play at maximum capacity.

PLAY LOUD

QotD: Pass The Dice

What is your favorite board game?
Submitted by I'm Unique.

There isn't a board game that I have played that I don't like. I play all the games like Risk, Connect 4, Monopoly, Clue, Chess, and so on. It kinda sucks though that I'm a bit too old for Candy Land.

Holiday Shopping Etiquette

It's that time of year again, the idiots have come out to do their Holiday Shopping. Normally this is not problem, but it does become one if you happen to live in a Major Metropolitan Area. So for this reason, I have made up list of "Holiday Shopping Etiquette/Rules", or what ever you wanna call em.

You may know someone who needs these rules. Or you  might want to have a look. Whatever the case maybe, please pass on these following guidelines to as many people you know.  The following suggestions are in no particular order, just as they come off the top of my head.

  • Treat others as you want to be treated. I don't care if  your a Grandma, if you want to act like a jerk, expect to be treated like a jerk in return. And on the flip side, if you don't like dealing with people, then get out of the retail business. So remember: Be Nice
  • It is not the fault of the store clerks if an item is sold out, they do not control the amount of stock they receive from the distributors. The world does not revolve around you.
  • After you have been checked out, move out of the line to look over your receipt. All you have to do is just step aside and let the line continue to move.
  • If the Item you buy requires extra accessories (memory cards, batteries, controllers, things of that nature), buy them now. Why? Because it will really suck on Christmas Day and little Timmy Needs that "Rechargeable Battery Pack" for his car, and then you come in to your favorite store the next day and they are all sold out, everywhere. And then they will tell you it won't be back in stock until February. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
  • For those of you who like to write checks, you are one of the reasons the check out lines are slowed down. There is a fabulous invention called a "Check Card". Do us all a favor and get one. But if you still insist on writing checks, do not wait until everything is checked out and then start digging it out of your bag, have the courtesy to have it in you hand (with your ID) and filled out so all you have to do is write in the amount.
  • After you have checked out, don't be an ass and leave your basket in the check out lane, move it to a location where it does not cause traffic to build.
  • If there is an "Express Line" (10 items or less), don't be a jerk with your basket-full of junk and get in it. That line is for people who  have a few items.
  • Check and then Double Check the price of the Item you are getting. Just because you have found an item  on the shelf marked with an incredibly low price, does not make it so. People are always picking stuff up and then just putting it where ever they feel like, usually in the incorrect spot.
  • Try to do more shopping online, most of the time you can find better prices and free shipping.

I'm pretty sure some have slipped my mind at this time, so if you know any I have forgotten and wanna add more to the list, feel free to add them in the comments.

Vox Hunt: Am I Blue? Welcome Martin Gramatica

Show us something blue.

COWBOYS WIN, COWBOYS WIN, GRAMATICA'S KICK IS GOOD!!!

What a heart stopper that game was, but the Cowboys pull out the last second win over The Giants 23-20 as newly signed Cowboys Kicker Martin Gramatica kicks a 46-yard winning field goal. The win also puts the Cowboys on top  of the NFC East.

This game was also was a slap in the face & wake up call to the 'Boys Defense because they played very poorly.

And on a side note: The Dallas Mavs have won 12 games in a row.

11 In A Row for the Dallas Mavericks!!!

Tonight, I (along with my stepfather) went back to my home away from home, the American Airlines Center to see the Dallas Mavs demolish the Toronto (Jr High) Raptors 117-98. The atmosphere was loud & electric (as usual). We had pretty good seats, I would say about 15 rows back from the floor. We had the option to eat at the "Platinum Club" but  decided instead to get 6" Subs (at a dollar an inch) for our game-time meal.

Anyways, not only did that win give us an 11 game win streak, but it now puts the Mavericks in FIRST PLACE in the Southwest Conference. That is quite the turn around from the 0-4 start we had. Unfortunately Dirk only played for maybe 5 minutes before leaving the game with blurred vision. Fortunately we had great games from both Howard and Stackhouse, and Damp continues to be dominant in the Center with his second straight double-double and his fifth of the season.  I brought my camera to the game and took some shots, sadly I didn't get any of the Mav Dancers.
