QotD: Pickup Artist
What's the worst pickup line you've ever heard?

I'm a dude, so I don't think too many ladies have come up to me with pickup lines (a lot of flirting) and off of the top of my head nothing memorable comes to mind. However, I have had the question asked to me point blank: "So when are we gonna have sex?" Now up to that point in my life, I never thought I would answer that question with "no thanks", but the girl who asked it, (to put it nicely) really wasn't my type (by about 100lbs).
Dallas Wins Big This Weekend!!!
COWS WIN, STARS WIN, MAVS WIN, ALL IS GOOD IN THE BIG D TONIGHT!!!!
This was a very, I say very good weekend for the Dallas Sports Scene. Not only did all of our local teams pick up the big wins in the past few days, but they did it all on the road. Starting last Thursday with a complete Arizona beat down as The Mavs beat The Suns 119-112 and The Stars shutout The Coyotes 1-0. Our luck also continued today with The Cowboys running past The Cardinals 27-10 and The Mavs defeat The Trailblazers 103-96, giving The Mavs a 2 game winning streak.
Now its just a matter of keeping this win streak going especially for The Cowboys and Mavericks. The Stars are playing solid right now, so I'm not really worried about them, but The Cowboys facing a very tough and undefeated Colts team next Sunday. We also need Nowitzki and the rest of The Mavs to continue to gel as a team and pick up some more wins.

Just A Blog For Today.
Just some random thoughts on today November 10th,
It was kinda of a boring day today. This morning I had a single biscuit from leftover KFC and some orange juice for breakfast. After that I made one final attempt to resurrect my original xbox. That failed so I'm gonna smash it up. I already smashed its hard-drive, but I'll do the actual box when I get bigger memory card for my camera so I can film it. I'm also replacing my current Music hard drive with a bigger one, but first I gotta encrypt the new drive using TrueCrypt, of which I'm am currently in the middle of doing, which happens to be a really long process (it's gonna take 26 hours just to format it). Went to "Steak N' Shake" for dinner. I had a Mushroom Burger, Onion Rings, and a Chocolate Shake. The food was good, but I'm gonna have to pay for that meal at the gym tomorrow.
QotD: Total Transformation
What's the most drastic change you've ever made to your appearance?

The only thing about my appearance that always changes is my hair style. A possible nomination for different is the "Wolverine" "Logan" (sideburns and all) that i have had several times. But the most drastic thing I have done (I personally think) to my appearance is after I let my hair grow rather long (shoulder length I would say), I shave it all off. Thats when I usually get the strongest (and positive) reaction to my look.
A Couple of Movies I Just Watched
Lately I've had some free time to kill so I've been catching up on some movies that I have yet to see.
One of the movies I just watched was the Noir film "Brick", which I wanted to see originally when it was in the theaters but was unable to get a chance. WOW, what a great film this was. The movie is basically about a kid who tries to solve the murder of his ex-girlfriend. Everything about "Brick" is wonderful. The Plot is very tight and well told, the Dialogue is very creative & colorful, and the Acting is top notch. This one gets my highest recommendation: You Must See This Film!
Nerd Alert! I also picked up "Transformers: The Movie". This one brings back the memories. It was 20 years ago that this movie
was originally in theaters, my how the time has passed. Again, this is a very good movie, especially if your a Transformers fan. Did I mention this DVD is packed, 2 disks, both widescreen and fullscreen formats, digitally restored and color corrected, and is loaded with plenty of bonus features, commentaries, and easter eggs. There is also a "first look" at the upcoming "Transformers" live action film coming next summer.

Where Are The Dallas Mavericks?
What happened to my Mavs?
0-2, what a terrible start to the new season, they have gotten killed in the first two games. No, this is not a "panic rant" (yet), but from what I have seen so far I DO have a feeling of concern.
I don't think there is any team chemistry, too many new faces on this years team. Yeah we locked up all of our "Core" players with new contract extensions, but in the off season they pretty much cleaned out their bench. At first, I wasn't too worried because the word around town was their "newly acquired" bench players were top rate players, which meant this teams bench would be even deeper than last years roster. But they way they have performed in these last two games, it doesn't look like it at all. Or maybe it's was the short summer with very little rest for the team, especially for Dirk who played for the "German National Team" during the break.
