Dallas

The Good: The Dallas Stars killed the L.A. Kings with a final score 4-1.

The Bad: The Dallas Mavs lose to the Sacramento Kings in the preseason home opener with the final score 111 -90.

The Ugly: Drew Bledsoe is still the Quarterback for the Cowboys.

Pimpin’ Ain’t Easy

Here is my blog for the evening:

On my way home from work tonight, I decided to take a detour from my usual route to avoid the traffic that was building up from all the construction. About a mile down the alternate road I was driving down, I came up to a red light and as I slowed down I began to scan the area to observe my surroundings. Thats when I noticed a woman with long curly blonde hair wearing a dark overcoat and a man standing near by in the shadows, I could see his lit cigarette butt as he took a hit.  I figured they were waiting for a bus and it didn't strike me as unusual for about 3 seconds until I realized that it wasn't a bus stop where they were standing. Then I noticed there was a Motel about 50 feet away, and that I was on "Harry Hines Boulevard", which is somewhat notorious in Dallas for its Street Walkers.

Good Times.

QotD: Save It For A Rainy Day

What's the best way to spend a rainy day?
Submitted by Vee.

Watch a flick, draw a pic, listen to some music, bake a bunch of cookies, have a duel to the death (preferably with a sword) with a mortal enemy, surf the web, and spend some time with you.

QotD: Mmm…Brunch

What do you like to make or order for brunch?

I don't really ever make or order brunch but I can tell you what my breakfast is Monday through Friday. One Biscuit, Sausage, Egg, & Cheese Sandwich or a Blueberry Muffin and a Lo-Carb "Monster" energy drink.

The True Breakfast of Champions.

What are your weekend plans?

Tonight I'm gonna bake some Chocolate Chip Cookies and watch the Spanish Version of "Dracula".  Tomorrow afternoon I'm gonna try to make it to the Dallas Mavericks Fan Jam and then watch the Dallas Cowboys take on The Philadelphia Eagles.

I’m Feeling Lucky

Just for fun and out of curiosity, I googled my first name using the "I'm Feeling Lucky" option to see what the number one ranked page is (with my name in it) on google. and came up with PEDro or Physiotherapy Evidence Database, an initiative of the Center for Evidence-Based Physiotherapy.

What?

I went over this site several time, and each time I got more and more confused. While I'm no brainiac, I still consider myself a fairly intelligent person, but I could not make heads nor tails to what this site was about. So not to feel like a total gimp, I did a search of my username using "Im Felling Lucky" and came to this blog.

This weeks Dallas Cowboys rant.

After the long two week break, my Dallas Cowboys defeat the Tennessee Titans 45 to 14, proving that the so called "T.O. distractions" (that was totally media created) from the past week was a non factor. I gotta admit that Vince Young was quite impressive for his first NFL start and the Titans played well until they seemed to fall apart in the 4th quarter.  As usual, the defense played great and the running game was outstanding, but I'm still concerned with Drew Bledsoe at the Quarterback position, but he is playing well so far.

Now it's on to face the Philadelphia Eagles that is sure to be heavily hyped because of "Terrell Owens Returns to Philadelphia".

QotD: Surprise! Your Mother Is In the Hospital.

Do you like surprises?

Like most people, I like a good surprise, but today I got a one I didn't really want.

As I was leaving for the day this morning I felt really good.  It's Friday (hello weekend), I'm feeling fully energized and optimistic that today would be a good day. The weather was perfect here in the D/FW area, it's too bad I had to spend all day in an office building.  Fast forward to tonight: After I get home I got a call from my Stepfather telling me my mother is in the hospital.  She's doing fine now but will remain there overnight and most of the day tomorrow. I was told she may have had a mild stroke, but they are not sure and are still running tests.
