As some of you may (or may not) know is that I have been in need of a Car for the past few years.. and of course my desire has been the Camaro. In theory I probably could have gotten one by now.. but I'm STILL holding out for a Z28.. assuming Chevy ever produces it.. until then all I can do right now is just wait and look. Luckily for me Chevy brought a few down to this years Fort Worth Auto Show... and for the first time I finally got to sit in it, and it felt good. My brother took a pic of me inside of it, but thankfully you really can't see me to clearly as I had a big goofy grin from ear to ear.
Although I don't seem to have all that much free time as of late.. I made sure to make time last Thursday night to catch another gig featuring my favorite trio of rock n' roll Ladies.. "Girl in a Coma" down at "The Cavern" pub on Lower Greenville in Dallas. Great performance by the girls as always.. but because they were not the Headliners (Xiu Xiu) and were in town as part of the support act (along with Noveller, who is an Awesome Gutarist/Artist by the way) .. it was a fairly short set... but overall a great night.
Below is a vid of "Girl in a Coma" I shot that night.. and the one below is of "Noveller".. which I didn't shoot but would like to share with you all none the less. Enjoy!
This seems to happen every now and then.. my work get so busy I completely cut off my "online social life" for several weeks at a time. Well I'm still alive and well… just really busy at work.. and tomorrow it really starts up as I will be putting in 12 hour days.. 6 days a week until April. So better get to sleep now as I won't be getting much for a while now.. See Ya.
What would you like to be said about you at your funeral?
"Wait a minute! He is still Breathing!"
Like clockwork.. the annual Layoffs here happened today. Although this is the third time this has happened while I have been employed here, I still go into these meetings with a heavy heart.. although I don't think anyone ever gets over the feeling when dealing with the possibility of unemployment. And for the third time I am happy to say I still have a job. And thankfully so does my department/group.
