"You know, the things you used to own, ending up owning you." Chuck Palahniuk

I swear, all my stuff is either broken or breaking down. I'm gonna have to do some major shopping soon. I just had my 1TB harddrive fail, so that needs to be addressed. On top of that, essentially all my media harddrives are full, so I need to invest in new higher capacity ones. Don't ask me why, but I sleep on a crap mattress on the floor, so a bed should be in my future. I need to get some new socks as I'm down to 4 pairs. And while I'm shopping for that, I should probably get some more underwear as well, just for good measure.

Both my work shoes and running shoes are well worn and need to be replaced. I still could use a new MP3 player as my IPod Nano battery died out a long while ago. I think I had that for a year before it died. My computer, which is a hand me down is 12 years old. It works "good enough", but I need to replace it for the sake of my Sanity. My Desk chair is worn out and not very comfortable and needs to be replaced. Although I have a Wii, I still am on the original Xbox, not a top priority, but it would be nice to upgrade to a 360.

My T.V. is an old hand me down and My "Sound System" is 13 years old, still works great, but again it would be nice to have upgrade there. No, at this time I could care less about Blu-ray, surprisingly that is not an issue for me. I rarely talk on the phone, but I really want the Palm Pre whenever that comes out. And I'll end this rant by reminding you and me what is already well known. For over a year now, I still have no car to call my own.

Deep Ellum Street Art

Here are just a few shots of the plethora of Street Art I took while walking down Elm St. in Deep Ellum before the "Hot Rod and Heels" event took place on Saturday evening. For the unfamiliar, Deep Ellum is a neighborhood just east of Downtown Dallas and is the scene for local live music and arts in the D/FW area.

Midnight at the Inwood Theatre – Clockwork Orange

Fri & Sat, May 15 & 16 at Midnight at the Inwood!

Stanley Kubrick's nightmarish, satiric horror show has lost none of its power to shock. Malcolm McDowell portrays Alex, a Beethoven-loving, head-bashing punk who leads his gang of "droogs" on ultra-violent assaults—until he is captured by authorities and subjected to nasty behavior-modification therapy. Based on Anthony Burgess's novel. Got milk?

Vox Hunt: Eat What You Want Day

Today is "Eat What You Want" Day. Show us what you would eat right now if you could.

Chocolate. Plain and simple.

And if I could, I would not only eat my fill of this sweet treat. But I would do what my cartoon counterpart Homer Simpson often fantasizes about, and that is to live and eat Coco in the Wonderful World of Chocolate aka Germany.

Member’s first totaled 2010 Camaro. Victim of unlicensed/uninsured driver.

Oh Man. When I saw this story my memories immediately flashed back to my own nightmare incident of my car being destroyed by an idiot kid. I swear if that happens to me again, I won't be revenge I'm after. It will be a Reckoning!

from camaor5.com

It makes us wince to see and report the demise of this 2010 Camaro, the worst crash we’ve seen yet, unfortunately. Forum member Dertybr’s brand new Camaro was wrecked more than a week ago by a Ford Escape piloted by a teenager. Not only did the teenager not have insurance, but did not even have a driver’s license!

Luckily Dertybr’s insurance replacement protection plan covered this loss and will be taking delivery of another brand new Camaro any day now. We wish him better luck the 2nd time around!
