Massacre at the A.D.D.

Good Times!! Tonight the Dallas Mavericks beat down the San Antonio Spurs 88-67. We lead the series 2-1 with the next game to be played right here in the Arena in Downtown Dallas. I am a happy man.

After work I decided to skip "Running" at the Gym and instead do it a the school track right down the road. I jogged/walked the standard 4 laps. And by doing that, I got to endure the wonderful feeling of Pain. After a decade of "Non-Impact Running", I really feel it in my shins and knees. I'm feel the need to do this every other day now that Soccer is just about over. This way if there is another chance to play next year, I won't be so limited.

Hurry up already Palm, I really want that Pre.

Join Me for a Puff!

I better make this post now because the Mavs are falling way behind to the Spurs. It appears that I will be falling asleep Mr Grumpy. I slept good last night and got to work fairly early today. Another 10hr shift. Thanks. On the way home I heard a loud pop and a bunch of liquid on the back window of the Metro. At first I thought someone thew something at me. It wouldn't surprise me if it had. After a few seconds I realized that the 12 pack of Diet Cherry Coke had exploded. This is the second time that this has happened. Why it happened? I don't know. It wasn't very Hot and I had my window down. Got the the Gym, my weigh in for the week is 199lbs. That is +3lbs. since last week. Interesting.

And for what it's worth, Happy 4/20! Smoke Em' If You Got Em'!  I will. Let my friend show you how it's done.

Because It Rained A Few Days Ago..

…our scheduled Soccer game for today was Canceled. Damn that fragile field. Personally I would have loved to have been able to play in the mud.

And I had it wrong in my previous entry, this is the last game of the season. Which ironically was the make-up game of the first "Weather Cancellation". And this was to be Berny Park S.C. vs the Hated (by me) Man.U. team that defeated us months before. I haven't gotten the word yet if and when we will play this final game. Regardless, our team is entering a tournament and an exhibition game as well.

So with our free time for the day, My brother, his girl, and I all went to see "Monsters Vs. Aliens 3D". It was entertaining. After that we headed to the Track and Field of a school in the neighborhood and kicked the soccer ball around for a while. Just to keep loose I suppose. And the day ended with the usual Grocery Shopping, Landry, and watching the latest TV episode of "Castle"

Not much else to say other than it's now time for some sleep.

Goodnight.

Lets Go Mavericks!!!!

Well, it's finally time for me to catch up on some much need sleep. Since Monday, I logged in 58hrs at work for the week. So I think I've earned at least this for tonight.

And because the Dallas Mavs just went into a toilet bowl of a city known as San Antonio and defeated the Spurs 105-97, I will be sleeping very happily. I also get to turn off the alarm clock for the night. Now I can sleep in for as long as I want.

Tomorrow is unofficially the last Soccer Game of this season. I am really amped up for this game, even got some new shorts and socks for this occasion. Win or loose, I'm gonna give it all. And if I happen to knock over a few players tomorrow, well they should not have gotten in my way.

And one final note, today on the drive home from work I saw probably the stupidest person in Texas. At some point during the drive, I glanced over at the opposite side of the freeway and saw a man on a Motorcycle. And in the 4 seconds it took him to pass me, I noticed three things. One – He was in the fast lane. Two – He wasn't wearing a helmet. Three – His body was not on top of the bike. He was driving the bike with his body completely on the left side standing on the foot peg/pedal. Maybe it's just me, but that seems just a bit dangerous to be doing in heaving traffic.

Anyways… Good night.

Vox Hunt: Stress Awareness Day

Omen – The Prodigy

With these glorious and long work days still in progress for me, I always find it helps me when I have my headphones on and the volume at full blast. For me it seems to make the time pass faster. And provide some much needed motivation.

What I've been going deaf to the most lately is music from The Prodigy, namely there latest single titled "Omen". Which apparently features little Wednesday Addams in their music video.  Dance Along and Enjoy!

This band needs to come to D/FW SOON because I'm starting to get that urge. I need to enter the human death trap know better as "The Mosh Pit" and start thrashing away!

It’s Wensday.

Hello. So being the procrastinator that I am, I finally mailed my tax forms out this afternoon. Other than that, there was not much going on with me today. Still just working, then off to the gym, then sleep. then repeat the next day.

Meanwhile deep in the heart of Fort Worth…

As I mentioned last fall, the Road Runner is being worked on. It's going slow, but that is to be expected as only one person is actually working on it. Same fella who beautifully repainted the Geo Metro for me, which by the way, I am happily (yeah right) driving again.

I tell ya I get no respect driving that car. Other drivers seem to have no problem just cutting me off or trying to run me off the road on a daily basis. I can't remember, but did I ever mention the Metro was actually egged. Good times.

QotD: Tomorrow’s Tax Day

Tomorrow's Tax Day. Have you done your taxes yet?

Yep, just finished. After a few years of owing, this year I get a refund. Finally!

As of now, it's looks like it's going to be just enough for a down payment on a new CAR. And the timing couldn't be better. GM appears to be going in the wrong direction so it looks like they will be needing me just as much as I need a new vehicle.
