Over this Labor Bay/birthday weekend, I gained 4 pounds. I'll attribute 1 pound of weight gain to the increased lifting I started doing at the gym. But I have a feeling that the other three were from the constant "all you can eat" marathon over the past 4 days. And there is still plenty of cake left to eat. I really feel like jogging right now.
…to Kick Ass in the Future. So as of Yesterday, my Father (brother and myself if we can spare the change) is having the 71' Road Runner restored. We gave the fellow who is doing the work all the time he wants, so it will take several months. It's probably not going to be "Contest Winning" quality, but I look forward to it being back in good Cherry condition.
Well, tomorrow will be another year of my existence on this planet. Right now my life is good and I'm fairly happy these days, however Things could be better. I've recently come to the conclusion that I'm getting too old to "settle" and let life pass me by. So it's time for me to create, take advantage, and seize every opportunity that I get from this point on. You know, live everyday like it might be your last.

On Sunday, August 31, WRR presents the 14th annual "Picnic in the Park" at the Dallas Arboretum. This event will start with a performance by The Dallas Wind Symphony starting at 7:00 p.m. featuring classic patriotic pieces, movie and rock favorites and a few great surprises.
Following the concert, AFI DALLAS will present "THE PRINCESS BRIDE" at approximately 8:30 p.m. Drop by the AFI DALLAS booth to register to win two Premiere Passes to the 2009 Festival.
Bring your picnic baskets, coolers and blankets and enjoy music and a movie under the stars. Concessions will be available. Arboretum admission and parking is free after 5:30 p.m.
The Dallas Arboretum is at 8525 Garland Rd. (MAPSCO 37-U) on the eastern shores of White Rock Lake. The grounds are wheelchair and stroller accessible and in-garden tram service is available.

Get a Hair Cut (my entire head shaved) later on today. Tomorrow I'll possibly go to the movies, I'd like to see "Babylon A.D.". After that spend a little extra time at the Gym refining my new workout routine. On Sunday, more Gym time and then get a whole lot of sleep. And then Monday is my Birthday!!! Most likely I be treated to dinner traditional birthday dinner at "Hooters". Although I really feel like having some good Pizza. So I'll have to find out where there's a great sit down restaurant that has makes good Pies here in D/FW.

It's been a few weeks now that I have seen these same four Podcasts of "Book Chat" with Rainn Wilson and I still laugh out loud each time I watch them. In fact I've been laughing here at work so hard that I've gotten asked if I was crying. It might be because I'm such a GN'R/Slash fan that I find these episodes hilarious, especially episode 2. The way Rainn keeps insulting him and Slash just plays the whole thing with a straight face just keeps me in stitches. So here is Episode 2 titled "Guisseppe" for your entertainment. Enjoy!
I was able to make another early start today. Missed most of the traffic, but did get caught in one School Zone slow down. Got here a little past 8am.
Last night my Brother called and had this crazy idea of me bringing him Ear Medicine for his pain that he has developed and taking it to him some time before we both were to be in work today. I Don't Think So!!! There is no way I can get up any earlier and then fight traffic of both Fort Worth and Dallas. Well instead we were supposed to met sometime later this evening.
However I was in such a rush today that I forgot to bring the medicine with me. So I just made a call and found out that he went to the doctor last night and got medicine becuase he couldn't take the pain any longer and won't be going to work today. So it turns out my mistake isn't a big deal and I won't be heading into Dallas this afternoon.
So now I'm just gonna get back to work and finish up my breakfast of scrambled eggs with cheese with a sausage and biscuit And to wash it down I have milk, one half pint of regular and one half pint of chocolate.
My co-worker never showed up yesterday and she's not here now, so I still don't know whats up with here dog.

My Ipod Mini died months ago, so I don't exactly have an Ipod mix. I do use iTunes here at work (one of my distractions that keeps me sane) so instead I'll share with you the Podcasts I subscribe to. It's a nice selection of Comedy, Cars, Tech, and Olivia Munn. The only one missing on my playlist (which also happens to be my favorite Podcast of all time) is "Tiki Bar TV". I think this show is so funny, If I watch it here I don't think I'd ever get anything done. Speaking of which, I think I should get back to it….
