Howdy everyone. Where have I been? The million dollar question that no one is asking. The short answer, I got a Job. That is a steady job, and that threw me a bit off of my normal routine. More on that in a bit, but first let me quickly finish my other 2 reasons that "Life will be better In 08".
Reason 3 – The Cowboys Are Back! Seeing on how I originally started this post back at the beginning of January, The Cowboys were on Top on the NFC and a heavy favorite to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl. So reason 3 was my optimism for the Cowboys to finally go all the way this year. Well that didn't happen so you can scratch that.
Reason 3 – Russia. My new little niece. A very happy and welcome new addition to my family. My how it will be sweet to Spoil this little girl so finally I might give my Sister a taste of her own medicine.
Reason 2 – My Car. To the point, now that I have a steady job It appears that I can finally get my Car back in top condition. I've already got that laundry list of annoying little repairs I needed to get taken care of. By the end of the month my next goal is to have my car lowered. What I want in the near future: A new body kit, new paint job, and some new wheels.
Reason 1 – A Steady Job. Even though I don't consider myself to be a superstitious person, I never like to blog about things in my life that may or may not happen. Back around last Thanksgiving, I was told that a former Co-Worker of mine would be giving me a call because the company she is working for had a position open. Great. A week later I finally did get that call. The Company my friend was working for was Zales and the position that had opened up was for an "Image Retoucher" for their website. So I gave her my resume and she passed on to her Managers. It was about mid-December that I finally got a call to come in for an informal interview. A few days later I got a call back with an offer to start at the beginning of January and come in as a "Contractor", and if everything goes well I would be put on staff permanently.
So here it is, a month later and everything seems to be going fine at work and in life. My month long absence on Vox somewhat explained. Well I haven't been totally absent, thats a bit of a lie, I just never posted anything. I still stopped by quite regularly (at work no less) and read all of my "friends" posts. So I guess you could say I just stepped back and became a voyeur.
