With Ms. Simpson watching from the stands, the Cowboys lost to the Eagles 10-6 and Tony Romo had his worst performance in his career. He finished the game with 13/36 passes for 214 yards, no touchdown passes, three interceptions, a 22.2 quarterback rating, and a bruised thumb on his throwing hand.
Now I can't give Romo the entire blame for the loss, it seemed like everyone on the offense didn't play very well. Just about every receiver dropped passes and the run game was virtually non-existent.
But in spite the offense stinking it up, the defense played pretty good, most notably linebacker DeMarcus Ware, who had two tackles for loss, his 11th sack of the season and two quarterback hurries. Overall the defense allowed only one touchdown and one field goal.
Even though the Cowboys did loose today, they still get a first round bye in the playoffs because Seattle also lost today as well. But Dallas still needs to win out the last two games of the regular season in order to get home field advantage throughout the post season.
