Mr. Bank, Give Me My Money! It's been three days since I deposited my paycheck and you still haven't put it into my account. I need gas, I need food, I need money!
One of the most annoying things for me right now is the fact that I can't get to sleep early enough when I know I need to wake up very early in the morning. It's bad enough that I'm not a "morning person". So last night I tried to go to sleep around 11:30pm, but for the life of me I couldn't fall asleep. I stared into the darkness for what seemed like forever until I finally did shut down around 3:30am. So when I alarm did go off at 6:00am, you guessed it, I didn't actually get up until 7:02am. Oops. And I'm pretty sure that it's gonna be hard for me to fall asleep tonight as well because of the Heart Stopping Cowboys game that just took place. So for everyone else out there, have a good night.

Nothing says "nutritious diet" quite like the delicious food from a vending machine. Because I just got my check tonight, this morning I scraped together most of my saved up loose change knowing that I would be heading to the vending machine for my lunch time needs. And of the wide variety of food the Vending Machine had to offer, I had a bag of Cheez-It Crackers, a Snickers bar, a Peanut Butter Granola Bar, and a Diet Pepsi. Sadly they had no Twix bars. And for an interesting end to this story, I accidentally drank a full cup of day old milk I had left in my room from last night. I didn't even realize it was old until after I had guzzled it all down and noticed the empty cup had creamy residue.

Yep, it's a goofy title, but it's no joke. My account is down to the last few dollars and my gas tank is just about empty and that is never a good thing. In my case I suppose that the big downside to being freelance (besides the lack of job security) is the lack of payment. I just turned in my time slip for my work I did last week, but I still haven't gotten paid for the work I did in early September. I talked to "the man" about it and he said "the check should be in the mail", and that was over a week ago. And in case you are wondering, no this is not the first time this "lazy payment schedule" has happened. When I first started to work for the company 2 years ago, it was a full month before I finally got my first paycheck. I really do need to get laid paid.
Yesterday I clocked in at 10:40am. I clocked out at 10:05pm.
