The Dark Knight’s Suit of Armour

I was just made aware of this news from Eric's blog, the first picture of the new Bat-Suit was revealed today as well as the Joker's Car (which turned out to be false). As far is the suit is concerned, it is not the direction that I would have gone in, but for now I will hold final judgment on the new Robocop suit until I see the movie.

QotD: Current TV

After all the recent season and series finales, what are you watching on TV these days?

Not much on regular T.V. for me these days, I don't really watch "shows" anymore and the Sports Season doesn't begin until August. Other than Heroes, I usually just keep my television on the channels History, Discovery, Cartoon Network, G4,or ESPN.

While I'm down here at my sisters place, I'm foregoing the channel surfing and instead watching a her movie library. She has a bunch of movies I haven't seen yet. Yesterday I saw Grandma's Boy and Man On Fire, both I had seen parts of but never a full viewing. Today I'm going to watch Unleashed and Boondocks Saints.

I did bring my Firefly DVDs with me so my sister could watch the show and maybe make her a fan of the series. She saw the pilot episode a few nights ago and she liked it. Now I just got to work in a few more episodes before I leave.

What to Expect From Pixar & Disney

From Variety.com

The Disney-owned toon studio's release in 2009 will be "Up," about a 70-year-old man who teams with a wilderness ranger to fight beasts and villains. "Monsters, Inc." director Pete Docter is helming and Pixar vet Bob Peterson is writing the script and will co-direct.

Monday's announcement fills in the remaining gap in the animation powerhouse's sked through 2010. After this month's "Ratatouille," it will release "Wall*E" next summer and "Toy Story 3" in summer 2010.

Its sibling Disney Animation Studios, also overseen by Mouse House toon toppers Ed Catmull and John Lasseter, is set to release "American Dog" next year and in 2009 "Frog Princess," its first hand-drawn pic since 2004.

“Memento Mori”

I would like to give a very special thanks to Carrie for sending me goodies from the very talented artists of the ancient order of The Stockholm Agency. And to show my appreciation and loyalty, I will now I will recite the sacred oath.

"As an honorary agent of the Stockholm and by the Sacred Parchment, I swear that if I reveal the secrets of the Agency, may my stomach become bloated and my hair be plucked of all but three hairs.

Memento Mori."
