I'm not going to call this a "bad" movie, more like a made for T.V. movie that made its way to the big screen. The plot takes place in the final year of the U.S. governments effort to bring down Robert Hanssen (Chris Cooper), a spy who betrayed the United States for over 20 years. Now because the story is told straight forward and we know  that he is the traitor and was caught from the beginning of the movie, this film has little to no tension or no real surprises to offer.

On the positive side, the movie has pretty good acting performances from the entire cast which is a good thing because there are no action scenes, this is a straight character driven film. That being said, I'd still say that it's not enough reason to see this movie in the theaters.
