Not much has been going on with me lately.. just working all the time. As I'm watching the Cowboys preseason game.. I thought I'd mention that I went to another Burlesque show with some friends last week. It was an interesting night.. there was even a midget dancer. Overall entertaining, but not my favorite show thus far. Here are a couple of videos of that night. Enjoy!
This weekend was a fun one. Went and saw the "A-Team"… twice as a matter of fact. I thought it was good. If you were a fan of the T.V. show (as I was) you will probably enjoy this film as well. Also went to the "House of Blues" in Dallas and saw a Burlesque show from the ladies of the "Ruby Revue". I also got to meet fellow D/FW SuicideGirl members CosmicComics and Tovi for the first time. Both were really cool cats and I hope I get to hang out with them again. As for today.. I plan on making this another lazy Sunday.. A bit of "Dragon Age"..a Nap.. possible go to the gym.. then a Nap.. and finish off the last two episodes of "True Blood: Season 1". Good Times.
"Hot Rods and Heels" is a festival and celebration of all things vintage! This event will be held on Saturday, May 16th at Excuses Cafe. Doors open at 4pm. "Hot Rods and Heels" brings together vendors, fashion designers, makeup artists, models, burlesque performers, entertainers, and fans in one amazing location in the heart of Dallas.
