February 17th is Random Acts of Kindness Day. What acts of kindness have you done or plan on doing today?
Submitted by Emeree.I just bought an item from eBay yesterday and when I paid for my item with paypal, the checkout page asked if I wanted to make a small donation to the Blind Cat Rescue & Sanctuary. Of course I did, and though it was not a large amount of money, I know that I was able to make a small difference. And that made me feel pretty good.

Success!
I got up early and I made here to work on time, which was a little before 8:00am. Beat the morning traffic and was the first one here in the Vault. It's not all smiles though. My co-worker left early yesterday because her Dog was not feeling to well. She's not here yet, and is usually the first one here. So I don't know how her dog is, hopefully doing well.
Show us a puppy.
Here's Gizmo a few weeks after his leg surgery. He's been hiding or sleeping most of the time. Mostly because of the pain medication that he's been on , but what has gotten him down the most is the fact that he can't go out on his neighborhood walks, which is the highlight of his day. His leg is healing up and he is doing a lot better theses days, though he still limps around on three legs.
What was your random act of kindness today?

On the way home from the grocery store tonight, my sister spotted two little puppies wondering the nighborhood. So I got out of her SUV and attempted to catch them in order to return them home. I was able to catch one of the dogs, but he didn't have any tags. The other puppy did have a collar on with tags but he kept eluding us (a few more neighbors joined in on the chase). Finally the little dog crawled under a fence and into a back yard. I rang the door bell to that house to let them know that a stray puppy crawed into thier yard. A man answered the door and I told him about the puppy that wonderd onto his property so he went back to have a look. When he came back out front he revealed that the dogs belong to his family. So we handed him his other puppy and went back on our way. Now the dogs are both home and safe tonight and I, well WE, did a good deed.
Gizmo went to see the Vet this afternoon. He's been limping for a week now and it turns out he re-injured his hind leg. He originally hurt that leg a few years ago, so he will be undergoing surgery for the second time to repair his torn ligaments. Unfortunately for him, he won't be going to the Park or on walks around the neighborhood for the foreseeable future.
On a positive note, baby Russia is starting to crawl. Well more like dragging herself along. We used to be able to move things (toys/keys/etc..) just out of reach so she won't grab it and stick it in her mouth because she really couldn't move around. Now we can't do that anymore because she has learned to drag herself (slowly, but she gets there) to get to what she wants.
