Sea World San Antonio

I had a bit of an interesting weekend. On Friday afternoon my Mother and I left for San Antonio to meet my Sis and her Husband because he is being stationed in there for a few weeks for some training. On Saturday we originally were going tubing down the San Marcos River but because of the abundance of rain we (Texas) have had, the rivers were to high and off limits.

So we ended up going to Sea World because they were told that they could get up to 4 free tickets with there Military I.D.s. Well they could only get the 2 tickets for themselves and we had to pay for the other 2. I have never been to Sea World so the day started out fun and there were a lot of firsts for me that day. The first time I saw a some Sharks, the first time I saw Shamu. The first time I had some of the Ice Cream of the Future. Then we decided to spit up for lunch. Because of a miscommunication on where to meet after we ate, we ended up looking for each other for the next few hours. Needless to say when we did regroup it was time to leave.

On Sunday we headed back home, but not before my Mom took my Sis shopping for Maternity clothes and another stop to see my step sister who lives in the area.

We finally got back to Fort Worth around 9pm and I now have to get repacked and head out the door in a few hours to head to Shreveport with my Sister for up to 2 weeks. While there I will be fulfilling my Big Brother Duties and stay with my Sister while her husband is out of town.
